Over the years, we’ve seen small Canadian towns struggle — local businesses being squeezed out by large international corporations, foreign products flooding our shelves, while Canadian factories closed their doors. It hurt us to watch friends and neighbors lose their jobs while cheap, low-quality imports took over the market.
We knew something had to change.
